Meet Mia...

Mia is a Shiba Inu and she was born 11 Nov 2009. Robert and I have been doing research on dogs here lately and decided that a Shiba would be perfect for us. She will only get to about 25 to 30 lbs. We have wanted a larger dog for a long time but we had to settle for a little one mostly because the wood floors in our apartment are made of a very soft wood that a big dogs nails would scratch our floors. After researching the Shiba we fell in love. The next step, finding one in Korea. After doing some research I found an area about an hour and a half away from us that is known for having a bunch of pet shops. So we decided to go check it out and see what we could find and we found Mia. She is adorable! She has only been in the apartment a couple of hours and she already seems to be adjusting well. We went for our first walk on a leash and she loved it. She keeps wanting to go to sleep so we are trying to keep her awake so she sleeps tonight. She is going to be an exciting addition to our family.
