When the movers got here they have a truck that has a huge extension ladder on it. They park the truck below our window, which for everyone that doesn't already know we are on the top floor which is 15 stories. Then they have a platform about the size of a queen size mattress that they will load a few things on and then a motor moves the platform up to the top and the movers that are in the apartment unload it and we check off on the numbers that the boxes are labeled with. They were very efficient in the whole process, super nice, and very careful with our stuff. I was extremely impressed and the quality control gentleman that was here told me to call him when we were finished unpacking and he would send someone to pick up all the boxes and paper. I can't complain about their service! Then on Friday morning we have to call the company that shipped my car and verify that the car is ready to be picked up!! By Friday we will be completely moved to Korea - one month later! Then to top it all off it is snowing AGAIN! Luckily it is not all the ice that is expected to hit the United States but a beautiful very peaceful snow. I have procrastinated long enough and hopefully I have filled everyone in on the events of our day! Enjoy! This is the time that I wish family and friends were closer to help unpack...

Move In Day...
I am taking a break from my so called kitchen! It is a disaster and looks like boxes of glassware, knives, bake ware, and appliances exploded! Robert is having to work late and I feel like I need a nap! To top it off my brown shadow (Mia) has gotten several naps in! She did not mind staying in her carrier while they were here. We set her on a box so she could watch the action. The movers showed up a little after 8 AM and were out by 11 AM. They offered to help me unpack but way to much to do to have several people all unpacking and I have no idea where I want to put stuff. They helped me unpack the kitchen which is probably this biggest part so that was a huge help.
