Almost Summer In Korea...

WOW where has the time gone since my last post, one more week and it would have been a month! Since my last post, we have been to Yongsan a couple of times to hang out with Katie and Alex on the weekends, Katie, Becky, and I all went to Dongdaemun and Itaewon to go shopping, Katie and I went shopping and got pedicures and manicures, I bought a really cute pair of Coach wedge sandals for 50% off, went to Osan for a quick shopping trip, had to say goodbye to Katie and then Tori left the very next day for the states, Robert went to the field, I met up in Iteawon with a family that I used to babysit for their twins about 5 years ago and that that my family has known for about 18 years, said goodbye to Christi the Fitness Director, added more classes to my teaching schedule, and lounged at the pool several days! Then there is my day-to-day stuff such as Mia and I going for walks, cleaning house, preparing to teach class, and all that good stuff. Mia and I have just been doing our own thing since Robert has been gone. It was nice that he was able to come home and hang out with us last weekend, this weekend, and then it is all over after next week. It will be nice to have him back home. It is getting hot and very humid here. Yesterday, I went to turn on the A/C that is in the living room and after letting it run for about 30 to 45 min it was not cooling and I had turned it on a couple of weeks prior and it had worked fine. I had to call our Korean realtor to have them call and schedule someone to come out and fix it. Luckily, by keeping the blinds closed and windows open it stays a little cooler. I just try to be out at the pool or running errands during the hottest part of the day. Robert and I are coming up on some big dates including one year since he proposed on 21 June, which is also his birthday, and then 10 July we will be celebrating our one-year anniversary together. Where has the time gone? I wish we were going to be able to enjoy the top of our cake but we are going to save it for our 2-year anniversary since it is at my parent’s house back in the states. Who knows it might be our 3-year before we get to eat it!! I am going to keep this short and sweet! I hope everyone is doing well and I hope you all know that we miss you all!!
