I guess this is what they call jet lag...

Since I arrived I have been WIDE AWAKE at 5 AM each day. The first day I stayed in bed until Robert had to get up to get ready for work. The second day at 5 AM on the dot and I was wide awake again! I decided to get up typed my previous post and saved it in word since we didn't have internet yet and then watch one of our almost eight hundred TV channels that we have. I must add that there are only about a dozen that are in English. We even have a couple of English music channels too! Today, the third day, which is also Christmas here, I woke up at 5 but managed to go back to sleep till 6:30. I must also add that sleeping in on an air mattress is not the most comfortable but then again sitting on the floor watching TV or typing on the computer isn't really comfortable either! Robert sleeps though all of this too!

Being that it is Christmas, we have a very small pile of gifts in the corner of our living room which consists of the air mattress, two converter boxes, our computers, the new 52 inch TV and surround sound that we bought yesterday and of course the gifts! Very cozy and memorable! I wish we could have more than cereal for breakfast. I guess that will just add to the memory of this Christmas!

Yesterday in between our multiple trips to the PX we went exploring to try to find the Shalom House. It is a Christian organization that came highly recommended to us from friends in Lawton (Thank you Chris!) and their mission is to minister to the soldiers and families here. We found it and found out that they were going to be offering a dinner and get together on Christmas. Tonight we will head over there and we are looking forward to meeting new people and hopefully we can find a group to connect with again! During the day today we are planning on doing a little more exploring and trying to branch off the main streets and see what we can find! By the way the weather forecast for the next 10 days the high will not get above about 32 degrees and it is suppose to snow two or three of those days. I promise pictures will come soon and I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and we will be calling family later on today!
