February - Robert came home in time for us to celebrate our 2 years together.
March - We found out that Robert had a slot for the career course and we went on our cruise.
April - We made a trip to Texas to see my cousin get married and everything else was a blur due to work.
May - We found out we were going to Korea and Robert surprised me and took me ring shopping.
June - We went hiking one day and Robert proposed!
July - We were married at the courthouse.
August - We had family and friends in town for our reception.
September - Robert graduates and we made the cross country journey to drop him off at Ranger school.
October -He comes home from Ranger school and we found out that we had to be in Korea by the end of November and we finally got to go to an OSU vs. Texas Tech football game.
November - I resign from my job, the movers come and pack us up and we were homeless and Robert left for Korea.
December - I spent some quality time with my family and left for Korea just in time for Christmas.

Whew what a year! So much has changed in both of our lives over the course of the past year!

We had a great New Year's Eve with one of my friends Nicole and her family. She and I met at Fort Sill, we both worked for MWR and her family moved to Osan this past summer. It was a lot of fun to see her and meet her family! We ate Korean food and rang in the New Year with champagne and a toast from her youngest daughter Kaitlyn (she was not drinking the champagne). We enjoyed shopping for purses, blankets, DVDs, shoes, clothing, and exploring a new city. Robert and I also had a couple of learning experiences with the Seoul Metro Train system and we are slowly beginning to learn our way around. When we were on our way back we decided to stop in New City, which is where Robert had taken me for dinner the day after I arrived in Korea and it is also one train stop up from us. We ate at an overpriced Italian restaurant which was decent but I think I was just hungry since we had snacked through lunch and it takes about 2 hours and 40 min to get from Osan area back home. We walked around and ended up picking up some goodies from the bakery. Also, while I was in Japan one of my favorite snacks was these rice things from 711 (I have no idea what they are called). They are rice in the shape of a triangle with seaweed wrapped around them and they have various meats inside of them (i.e. tuna, salmon, and shrimp). Last time we were in New City we saw a 711 and so we picked up a few this time we went back and almost cleaned them out! When we were taking a taxi back home we saw a whole new area of shops and restaurants that we had never seen before. Last time we took that cab ride home I know that I was experiencing some major jet lag and felt like I was in a daze. We were excited to find a new area around us to go exploring. I will let you know how it turns out for us. I have also included some pictures that I forgot to put in on my last post and I also took some of our goodies from the weekend. The pictures of the food are just for you Les!
