A Mountain Man and Stitches...

Luckily not together! I have posted a picture of Robert with his facial hair growth over the previous week of vacation! Monday morning I was catching up on washing dishes, I went to put a wine glass in the dishwasher, and I ended up hitting it on the dishwasher. It broke and then fell off the counter and hit my foot and without all the bloody detail it ended with a trip to our medical clinic here and three stitches. Then that evening I could not sleep to save my life! My foot was hurting and I was restless and since I was restless so was Mia so we moved to the couch and I was able to elevate my foot and finally get some sleep!! Luckily sleeping the next night was not bad at all!

On Tuesday, I was supposed to teach a Circuit/Strength Training class at Camp Stanley, which is about 25 to 45 minutes from here depending on traffic. I ended up having to cancel since it was painful to put on a shoe. I went ahead and taught my abs class since it was only a 15-minute class.

Then Wednesday Mia and I drove down to Yongsan for her vet appointment. The vet had to get a blood sample so they could prepare for Mia to be spayed this next week! Mia did great! Even though I was holding her back legs, a vet tech holding her mid section, another vet tech holding her front legs, they put a muzzle on her just in case, and the third tech drawing blood from her juggler vein. I was so proud of her she did not try to squirm or even cry! That was the most expensive blood work I have ever had to do!! After the vet, we went out to the dog park to play as her treat! When we arrived, there were two large golden retrievers. I was a little hesitant to let her play with them so I asked their owners how they were with little dogs and they both said they played well with little dogs. Mia sniffed them through the fence and everything seemed great so I took her in. They all had a blast running and playing and you would have never have thought that these dogs were each three times Mia's size (by the way Mia weighted in at 12 lbs!). After playing of course, I had to go get some Starbucks and then we went for a walk! All the trees were blooming and beautiful! We ran into our friend Stacey and she took a picture of Mia and me with all the Cherry Blossom trees. Then we went to her house to play with her two beagles. After an afternoon of playing, it was time to head home!

Thursday I decided I could go ahead and teach the class at Camp Stanley. I drove out there and had a great time teaching! There was another event going on so there were only three women that showed up. I am so excited I am going to start teaching out at Stanley once a week. I am so excited about helping these wonderful women get into shape!! Beginning in May I also start teaching a Spinning Class at 6:30 AM on Wednesday mornings.
