Monsoon Season...

Life has been quiet around here. The month of August is going to be very busy for Robert and since he is going to be so busy, I increased my teaching load. In addition, I am determined to lose my "Korea weight" before we come home in Oct or Nov. The moment we moved to Korea BAM 10 pounds and I am sure a lot of it had to do with us having to eat out a lot when we first arrived here. Never the less now I am really focusing on eating healthy, watching what I eat, my workouts, and tracking everything! It is very exciting that twenty days into it all I am already seeing results! Also, we are in the middle of monsoon season here so it makes it rather difficult to do many outdoor activities since you never know if or when it is going to rain. Robert and I have both managed to find time to ride our bikes a lot more here recently, which has been wonderful! Robert has been riding his to PT in the mornings and me and one of my friends we have been riding about twice a week. I am also trying to get back into cycling shape so that I can ride my bike in the team triathlon coming up on 11 Sept. It is a 30K bike ride, which is about almost 19 miles.

About two or three weeks ago, Robert asked me what I thought about him buying another motorcycle and selling the one he has now. I agreed since it is cheaper to buy it here than in the states and I told him it was a Harley or no motorcycle at all. I did not want him to have another sports bike and I wanted to be able to ride more comfortably with him. After a few discussions about which Harley he wanted, we picked one out and he went to find out when they would be able to get it here. Come to find out the model he wanted could not be in country until January. Anyone that knows Robert knows that when it comes to his toys he has the patience of a 2 year old oh wait that is with just about anything! I love you babe! Anyways, after doing a little more research he found another one that he really liked and they happened to have it on the military sales lot here at our PX. Therefore, all he needed to do was sell his and we were good to go! He posted flyers the Monday before last and then sold it last Wednesday! Then he was able to turn around and buy his new bike last Friday. Here they keep them on the lot without any fluids in them so they had to send it to Yongsan to get ready to sell, we drove down there yesterday to pick it up, and he wanted me to follow him back in the car since it had been raining on and off all day! He is so happy and the bike is beautiful! My man and his toys and to see the smile on his face as we were driving back was priceless! Picture to come! He had to ride back in the rain so he wants to get it cleaned up before we post pictures.

Here are some pictures that I have taken of Mia when we were hanging out around the house. I have a rug that I keep on the floor in the kitchen well it is white and between Robert and Mia it does not stay clean for more than a couple of weeks. Every time after I wash and put it back out Mia gets very excited! She likes to roll around on the rug and try to pull it out of the kitchen. I told Robert the other day that there is no need to have kids right now because we have a dog that plays in the cabinets and likes to climb on things. Enjoy the pictures and I hope everyone is doing well! I am heading to Seoul tomorrow to do some exploring/shopping/girl time with a couple of girlfriends so I hope to have more pictures up soon! Have a great weekend!
