Fabric...Ribbon...Beads...Buttons...galore!!

I am finally all caught up on blog posts! Whew! Luckily, Robert was out with the guys for a farewell dinner so I had some undisturbed time to devote to getting everyone up to date on the happenings here in Korea.

So for today, one my girlfriends Tori, was telling me on Monday about this wonderful place that has multiple floors of several huge buildings full of supplies for a variety of different crafty art projects. Wednesdays are days that I do not have any obligations (except this morning I taught my first Spin class, which I might add went really well!) so I thought it might be fun to go do something new and exciting. After spin class at 0630, we cleaned up, and walked (the weather was a little humid but beautiful) to the train station to head to Dongdeamun. It was a little less than an hour train ride and when we stepped out of the train station three huge buildings filled with goodies met us! I was not for sure what to expect but I have to say that the pictures do not do it justice. Stuff is EVERYWHERE!! I have come up with a few projects earrings (several different types), napkins, napkin rings, and a few necklaces just to name a few! For a while I have been thinking about how I would like to try out a sewing machine and now I really want one!! So many opportunities, possibilities, and so much fun!! Enjoy the pictures! I am worn out, tired, and enough blogging for tonight! I would also like to add that Mia is doing great! Besides the cone on her head, a shaved paw, and shaved belly, she has just as much energy and her incision is already healing up nicely!
